Board of Directors

The Board of Directors of the Canadian Podiatric Medical Association (CPMA) provides governance, strategic oversight, and leadership for the association. Comprised of elected practitioners, provincial representatives, and appointed roles, the board works collaboratively to advance podiatric medicine in Canada, support members nationwide, and ensure the association’s mission, standards, and priorities are upheld.

Executive Board

The CPMA Executive Board provides national leadership and strategic direction for the profession of podiatric medicine in Canada. Its members are experienced practitioners who contribute their time and expertise to advancing clinical excellence, education, and advocacy nationwide.

Provincial representatives

The CPMA provincial representatives serve as the voice of podiatrists in their respective regions. They foster collaboration among practitioners, address local challenges, and ensure that regional perspectives are reflected in national decision-making.

Student representative

The CPMA student representative serves as the national liaison for Canadian podiatry students studying abroad, helping to strengthen connections between students and the association. They support student engagement, share educational resources, and collaborate with the CPMA Executive Board to enhance communication and awareness within the future podiatric workforce.

Executive director

The CPMA executive director oversees the association’s administration, communications, and national initiatives. The executive director works closely with the Executive Board and provincial representatives to ensure the effective coordination of programs and member services across Canada.
