A national voice for podiatric medicine in Canada

The Canadian Podiatric Medical Association (CPMA) is the national professional organization representing podiatrists and advancing foot and ankle health across Canada. Founded in 1926, CPMA advocates for professional recognition, clinical excellence, and public awareness, while supporting podiatrists through education, collaboration, and national representation.

By joining CPMA, you become part of a unified professional community working to strengthen and shape the future of podiatric medicine in Canada.

Why CPMA membership matters

CPMA membership is more than affiliation — it is active participation in advancing the profession. Through coordinated advocacy, education, and professional collaboration, CPMA represents podiatrists at both the federal and provincial levels, contributing to policy discussions, healthcare initiatives, and national standards of care.

Membership ensures that the voice of podiatry is heard, respected, and supported within Canada’s evolving healthcare landscape.
