If you do not agree with these terms, you must not use the site.

2. Purpose of the site

The site provides information, resources, and services related to podiatric medicine in Canada, including but not limited to:

  • public directories of licensed podiatrists and clinics;
  • information about membership and professional standards;
  • educational materials and events;
  • the Member Hub for internal communications and resource access.

All content is provided for informational and professional reference purposes only.

3. Eligibility

Use of certain areas of the site, such as the member hub, is restricted to verified members of CPMA or authorized users. By using these areas, you confirm that you are an eligible member or authorized representative and that the information you provide is accurate and up-to-date.

4. Intellectual property

All materials on this site — including text, graphics, logos, data compilations, software, and layout — are the property of CPMA or its licensors and are protected under Canadian copyright and trademark law.

You may view, download, or print content solely for personal or non-commercial use related to CPMA’s purposes, provided you do not modify the material or remove proprietary notices.

Any other use, reproduction, or redistribution of content without prior written consent from CPMA is strictly prohibited.

5. Member hub

The member hub is a protected area intended exclusively for CPMA members and authorized participants. Users must maintain the confidentiality of their login credentials and are responsible for all activities conducted under their account. Unauthorized access, data scraping, sharing of credentials, or misuse of internal resources may result in suspension or termination of access, as well as potential legal action.

6. Accuracy and updates

While CPMA makes reasonable efforts to ensure that the information on the site is accurate and current, it does not guarantee that all content is error-free, complete, or up-to-date. Information about clinics, practitioners, or third-party resources is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

Your use of the site is also governed by CPMA’s privacy policy, which describes how we collect, use, store, and disclose personal information in accordance with PIPEDA and applicable provincial privacy laws.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties or representations of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. CPMA does not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CPMA, its officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your access to or use of the site, including but not limited to reliance on any information provided herein.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CPMA, its affiliates, and their respective officers and employees from and against any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the site, violation of these terms, or infringement of any rights of another person or entity.

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.

You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Ontario, Canada, for any disputes arising out of or related to these terms.
